Listen: Empress Of Shares New Track, ‘Realize You’
Fidgety dance track precedes Lorely Rodriguez’s upcoming November dates.
Lorely Rodriguez aka Empress Of has shared a brand new, ever-shifting track in the form of ‘Realize You’.
Avoiding standard rhythms and structures, ‘Realize You’ is a fidgety number. It ‘wants to be your boyfriend’, ‘wants to be your girlfriend’, in a serenading song built around complex percussion and a dance pulse. Beyond anything, it sounds completely different to the songs on Rodriguez’s ‘Hat Trick’ EP, which came out earlier this year on Double Denim.
