Next week, Flashguns will release their spiffy (yes, you can quote us on that) new album ‘Passions Of A Different Kind’. This week, we’re premiering the entire thing, one track at a time, here on DIY. Brilliant.

This morning we’ve got the third track from the record for you - following on from opener ‘Sounds Of The Forest’ and title track ‘Passions Of A Different Kind’ - in the form of ‘No Point Hanging Around’. It’ll be followed by ‘The Beginning’ at 3pm this afternoon, so make sure you check back then.

Speaking about the song, the band say: ”No Point Hanging Around’ is about loving a girl and not knowing any different. One of the songs we wrote after the barn sessions and one of my favourites.’



Flashguns’ new album ‘Passions Of A Different Kind’ will be released on 17th October via Humming Records.
