Listen: Halls Previews New Album With ‘Waves’

The church walls are crashing down if Halls has any say - the moody grace of his debut ‘Ark’ is getting transformed on second album ‘Love to Give’, out 10th February through No Pain In Pop.

On this second record Sam Howard is bringing in spiralling guitars, organs that spin out of control, giving his already atmospheric sound more space. New track ‘Waves’ backs this up, hitting the kind of crescendo that’s usually saved for Sigur Ros set closers.
