UK Premiere: Club 8 Air New Track, ‘Stop Taking My Time’

Ahead of forthcoming new album ‘Above The City’, Club 8 are streaming their song ‘Stop Taking My Time’ online; give it a listen below.

The Swedish duo - Johan Angergård and Karolina Komstedt - will release the full-length on 21st May through Labrador.

Their eighth effort, it follows on from 2010’s ‘The People’s Record’ and features Russian field recordings, children’s choirs and samples from erotic movies and construction sites.

It was produced by Angergård himself, using 13-year-old program Cubase VST 5.0. ‘With less advanced technology at hand you need to create your sounds in a more ‘hands on’, in-artificial kind of way,’ he explains.



‘Stop Taking My Time’ is the second track to be taken from the release, with album opener ‘Kill Kill Kill’ unveiled in January; give that a listen here.
