Watch: Green Day Release ¡Uno! Album Trailer

They’ve already let us in on the secret that they’re going to be releasing three albums over the next year, but what exactly is it that’s in store for us? Well, this trailer clip for first album ¡Uno! is attempting to help shed a little light, whilst giving us a quick glimpse of the cover.

Album number one - so titled - looks set for release on the 25th September. Check out the trailer below.



The full trio of records - titled ‘¡UNO! ¡DOS! ¡TRE!’ are set to be released on September 25th, November 13th and January 15th of next year. Recorded in the band’s hometown of Oakland, California, long time collaborator Rob Cavallo will produce.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong revealed this information on his Twitter, alongside the following statement from the band themselves.

‘We are at the most prolific and creative time in our lives. This is the best music we’ve ever written, and the songs just keep coming.

‘Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. Every song has the power and energy that represents Green Day on all emotional levels. We just can’t help ourselves… We are going epic as fuck!’
