Green Day break news of deluxe album release with brand new single
‘Smash It Like Belushi’ marks the first new track from the record coming in May.
Green Day fans will be pleased to know that the band is back with new music! Today the US group announced plans to release a deluxe version of their 2024 UK Number 1 album ‘Saviors’, alongside a new single from the forthcoming record, ‘Smash It Like Belushi’.
The new track was recorded across London and LA with Grammy winning producer Rob Cavallo - a longtime collaborator of the band. The fancifully titled ‘Saviors (édition de luxe)’ is due for release on 23rd May and will feature 8 new tracks, 2 of which are acoustic versions of existing songs on the release.
The deluxe record will arrive this summer, just before the band are back in Europe for their headline at Download Festival, before touring across the UK and beyond.
