In the magazine Festival Guide 2022

Featuring Sports Team, Nova Twins, Sigrid, Alfie Templeman and more!

It feels like almost a lifetime has passed since we last dropped a Festival Guide into your lap - it was all the way back in 2019, to be exact - but, lovely readers, we can’t tell you how excited we are to be back! After a few tentative steps made in the right direction last year, we - much like the rest of the music industry - are positively joyous at the idea of getting back into venues and fields across the world this summer - and we hope you are too.

And so to mark the occasion, we thought it only right to dive in head first, and pack our 2022 edition of the Festival Guide with loads of ideas and tips to help make this summer one of the best yet.

For our cover feature, we head Stateside to meet up with Sports Team, as they take their brilliantly chaotic live show to a whole new audience, to talk all things ‘Gulp!’ and get a taste of what’s to come from their big summer. Elsewhere in the issue, there’s also chats with the electrifying Nova Twins, the wonderful Alfie Templeman, Hull’s finest quartet LIFE, and summery big-hitter (and former Festival Guide cover star) Sigrid - who are all set to appear on festival stages near you very soon. Plus, we get excited about the return of Glastonbury (finally!), give the travellers amongst us a few touristy tips, and offer up a look at some of the new and fancy gizmos that’ll make this summer extra easy for you.

Oh, and we got the incredible Joe Lycett to run through what are sure to be this summer’s biggest festival hits. Yes, yes we did. So consider this 2022 Festival Guide as a bit of a bible; a packed-to-the-rafters issue with one main aim: to get you involved in the most exciting festival season yet.

What are you waiting for? Grab your tinnies, pack your wet wipes, and follow us!
