In the magazine Festival Guide 2023

Featuring Rina Sawayama, Weyes Blood, You Me At Six, The Vaccines and more.

Festival season is almost upon us and that can mean only one thing: we’ve unleashed our annual Festival Guide, and 2023’s edition is a real doozy…

Last year, festival season marked a real turn in the tide for just about all of us; after several years’ break from watching live music soundtrack sunsets across the world, we certainly weren’t the only ones glad to be back in a field. Now, the idea of getting to do it all over again this summer is already making us positively giddy which is why we’ve put together the ultimate guide to the summer, with a little help from some of music’s most exciting names…

We’re absolutely thrilled to be welcoming back Rina Sawayama to the cover following the release of her insatiable second album ‘Hold The Girl’ last year. Set to slay her way through summer, she’ll be bringing her glorious brand of pop to festivals across Europe so what better way to get you prepped for what’s to come than by catching up with the star herself?

And that’s not all: we’ve recruited Justin from The Vaccines to offer up his ultimate guide to the season - including who to see, where to go, and what to do - while the likes of Weyes Blood, You Me At Six and Warmduscher all get set for what’s to unfold. We also catch up with the newly reunited The Moldy Peaches, ahead of their upcoming return to the stage, and get comedian (and current Taskmaster contestant) Kiell Smith-Bynoe to give us his verdict on what are sure to be the bangers of this year’s festival season.

And for those of you who haven’t quite made their minds up about where to head this year, well, we’ve got you covered there too: check out our ultimate festival index to plot your way through the perfect fest-filled summer. So what’re you waiting for?! Let’s get stuck in!
