2014 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award Nominees Announced

Chlöe Howl, Ella Eyre and Sam Smith have been nominated for the award.

The BRIT Awards have announced the three nominees competing to win the inaugural Critics’ Choice Award.

DIY was involved in the voting process, which asked critics and ‘tastemakers’ to vote on potential stars of the future. This year’s winner, Tom Odell, scored a #1 position in the UK album chart. So essentially, this award means serious business. Previous winners include Adele, Emeli Sandé and Florence & The Machine.

The nominees this year are Disclosure guest turned solo star Sam Smith, the ever-amazing Chlöe Howl and Rudimental collaborator Ella Eyre.

2014’s winner will be announced very soon, on 12th December. The actual BRIT Awards ceremony will be held on 19th February at the O2 Arena.
