404 unveil new project ‘Guild Two: Forever’

It will be the collective’s first project since the passing of founding member Mina (aka Silvertongue).

Following May’s tragic news about the passing of 404 founding member Mina (aka Silvertongue), the London-based collective have shared their first new project since.

‘Guild Two: Forever’ once again draws on the group’s plethora of influences - ranging from hip hop and electronica to jazz and punk, and everything else in-between - producing eight completely varied and unique tracks.

It was preceded by the release of first cut ‘Blind Spot’, which featured vocals from Silvertongue and additional drumming by black midi’s Morgan Simpson. “’Blind Spot’ is Mina’s song and was recorded not long before she tragically passed away this past May,” the group said in a statement. “The track serves as a testament to Mina’s talent as a writer and musician. Amongst ourselves we all have our own strong connections with the lyrics, but it’s important to us that the writing is allowed the space to speak for itself. Mina’s voice will resonate forever.”

404 will also be performing their first headline show back this Friday (25th October), with donations to mental health charity SANE encouraged on the door. Grab your tickets via DICE here now.
