Ahead of this week’s Great Escape, 404 have shared a new track and video.

‘Gauntlet’ follows the group’s ‘Guild One’ EP.

‘Gauntlet’, they say, “was made to create energy, it was made to make people move. Inspiration was being taken from some of the collective’s main sounding boards, from Code Orange to Show Me The Body. Exploring themes of isolation, paranoia and addiction, the lyrics are there to document and explore but never quite resolve anything. Batteries leaching acid into the soil in a pit on the edge of town. A milewest: a cabin. Under black skies, a young knight rests. Ahead of him, the Gauntlet.”

Watch the video below.

404 play The Great Escape (9th - 11th May) where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
