Adult Jazz chest-pump for new ‘Idiot Mantra’ Community Rhythms video

Leeds band make a local school percussive in their latest video from debut ‘Gist Is’.

So the story goes, Adult Jazz frontman Harry Burgess used to teach, right up until his Leeds band decided to make one of the most inventive debuts of the year with ‘Gist Is’. Their music is so good you could teach it in schools, etc., and in a new video titled ‘Community Rhythms’, that’s exactly what they end up doing.

Bongos galore, the video takes an excerpt from percussive centrepiece ‘Idiot Mantra’ in a moving, grooving, stamping pulse-raiser that comes complete with “Adult Jazz” comic sans font t-shirts. A wonderful combination.
