Alex Calder, one time bandmate of Mac DeMarco, has shared a new single and video over the weekend. ‘Lola’ is the second track taken from new album ‘Strange Dreams’, the title track of which was shared back in September.
In the video for ‘Lola’, Calder skates in the streets, whilst playing guitar to bemused onlookers. Typically humorous and strange, ‘Lola’ is a sort of sedated love song that is almost poking fun at itself. The video ends with footage of a topless Calder serenading on the steps of Brooklyn houses. Eerie.
