Alex Lahey gets her collage on in the ‘I Haven’t Been Taking Care Of Myself’ video

Her debut album ‘I Love You Like A Brother’ is out next month.

There’s only a few weeks to go before Aussie Alex Lahey reveals her debut album ‘I Love You Like A Brother’. If you want to put that date in your diary, it’s 6th October.

Up until now, we’ve been treated to two tracks from the record: ‘Every Day’s The Weekend’ and ‘Lotto In Reverse’. Now she’s back with another new one from the LP, ‘I Haven’t Been Taking Care Of Myself’, which, considering it’s about getting a bit lost in a lousy relationship, is oddly uplifting. In the video, Alex sits in a white room and watches as black and white drawings appear in collages all around her. It’s lovingly crafted, and creative to boot.

As part of a huge European tour, Alex will be heading to the UK in November, with dates in London, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.

Watch the video for ‘I Haven’t Been Taking Care Of Myself’ and see Alex’s upcoming UK dates below.

NOVEMBER
08 London, Boston Music Room
09 Bristol, Louisiana
10 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
11 Manchester, Deaf Institute
12 Glasgow, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut
