Alexisonfire tease a 2015 return - to play Reading and Leeds?
A French news site suggests Alexisonfire are to reunite for the 2015 festival circuit.
All corners of the rock world were set ablaze on Friday afternoon by a mysterious announcement of an announcement on supposedly defunct post-hardcore veterans Alexisonfire’s Instagram.
Seemingly suggesting that the group are to return this year, the post hints at more news on Monday 9th March (that’s tomorrow, fact fans).
However, French festival news site 99 Scenes is claiming to have the scoop – a post on the site claims that the band are to reunite for a number of festival shows this year, including Reading & Leeds in the UK, Riot Fest in Denver, Chicago and Toronto, and a festival in Quebec.
Alexisonfire officially broke up back in 2012. How the reunion is to work alongside guitarist Wade MacNeill’s current day job as frontman of Gallows, and Dallas Green’s City & Colour solo project, and current You+Me project with P!nk, is currently unknown.
More details are to be revealed tomorrow.
