Alt-J, Disclosure and Peace amongst UK Music Video Awards winners
FKA twigs also picked up two awards, for Best Video Artist and Best Alternative Video.
Last night (Monday 10th November), the seventh annual UK Music Video Awards were held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the Southbank Centre, London, with a ceremony hosted by Adam Buxton. The event follows the MTV EMA awards, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland the previous night, hosted by Nicki Minaj and with winners including One Direction, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande.
The winners list for the UKMVAs features Alt-J (Best Visual Effects in a Video for ‘Hunger of the Pine’ (pictured)), Peace (Best Choreography in a Video for ‘Money’) and Disclosure (Best Music Ad – TV or Online for ‘Settle’). FKA twigs also picked up the Best Video Artist gong, as well as Best Alternative Video – Budget for ‘Papi Pacify’, co-directed by Twigs with Tom Beard, while Sia won Best Pop Video – International for ‘Chandelier’.
