Amanda Palmer And Neil Gaiman Go On US Tour

Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman have announced they will tour this fall. Billing the event as ‘An Evening with Neil Gaiman & Amanda Palmer’, they will promise an unusual and intimate few hours of spoken word, songs, stories, chats with the audience, as well as, surely, as few Amanda Palmer-esque surprises.

They have used the popular fundraising site Kickstarter to fund the tour in which they are offering VIP seating and access to soundcheck as gifts. Fans will also be able to get access to an audio recording and merchandise through here if they are unable to make the shows. Unsurprisingly, due to their social media prowess, they managed to raise nearly $70,000 with 1,200 backers in the 48 hours the Kickstarter was open, which was triple their funding goal.
