Angel Haze means business with ‘Resurrection’

It lands ahead of a second album, due out “very very soon”.

Returning with vengeance, Angel Haze is right back on the loomingly brilliant form of last year’s project ‘Back to the Woods’ - announcing her second album, and sharing statement of intent ‘Resurrection’.

“2014, the year I died, now I’m resurrected like Jesus Christ,” Haze starts over a pounding barrage of echoing chimes, and fearsome squelches of bass, “2016 the year I rise,” she adds later on. Every time Angel Haze puts a track out these days, she’s raising the bar ever high.

“Listen, I don’t give a fuck,” she said, speaking about her new approach to the monstrous new track. “That’s the only difference. I don’t give one single fuck. I’m here with my heart open and my lungs full of what god has given me. It’s just my views.”

‘Resurrection’ will appear on Angel Haze’s second album. It’s apparently due in 2017, “very very soon” according to her Soundcloud. She’s also written the phrase “Roses Rising” - which could be a possible album title, or a reference to the rapper’s full name Raeen Roes Wilson.
