Introducing our April 2018 issue with Chvrches - and our 2018 Festival Guide

It’s bumper issue day! Two brand new issues of DIY are out in the world as of right now! In our April issue, we catch up with Chvrches, who moved Stateside to craft new album ‘Love Is Dead’. Meanwhile, in our 2018 Festival Guide, we pack our bags and head off into the world of George Ezra, fresh from the release of his brilliant second album ‘Staying At Tamara’s’.

Chvrches are joined in the new issue of DIY by Goat Girl, who release their brilliant, sprawling debut album next week, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, who takes a step into weirder territory on new album ‘Sex & Food’.

Also in the new issue is our report back from the melting pot that is SXSW, with all the action from our showcases and beyond in Austin. Disclaimer: it got pretty messy. Speedy Ortiz are also in the new issue, scrapping an album of love songs in favour of the biting social commentary of third album ‘Twerp Verse’.

We also catch up with Years & Years’ Olly Alexander, talking through the band’s fantastic, outrageous return with new single ‘Sanctify’, and what to expect from the trio for the rest of the year.

Meanwhile, our 2018 Festival Guide in association with TicketWeb is fronted by our favourite, cheesy-grinned Geoff, George Ezra! Releasing his second album ‘Staying At Tamara’s’ last week, the singer’s new collection is a bright, breezy shot of escapism, which, to be honest with you, is something we all need right now.
