Over the past couple of years, Venezuela-born producer Alejandro Ghersi has been bubbling under the surface as Arca. He’s put his name to cuts on ‘Yeezus’, and he was responsible for producing some of the work on FKA twigs’ first two EPs.

Now the producer’s announced plans to release his first full-length. ‘Xen’ comes out on Mute, 3rd November. It’s being led by the stuttering, twisted lead track ‘Thievery’, and it’s one of fifteen previously unheard songs.

Before his collaboration work, two EPs on UNO NYC (‘Stitches 1’ and ‘Stitches 2’) turned heads towards Arca’s batshit-crazy electronic work. Then followed 2013’s ‘&&&&&’ - as with everything from that release onwards, visually Arca is collaborating with Jesse Kanda.
