Arca debuts ‘Mutant’ tracks in BBC Radio 1 appearance

On last night’s BBC Radio 1 Benji B show, Arca dropped by to debut tracks from his forthcoming second album ‘Mutant’.

With the follow-up to ‘Xen’ due out 20th November (it’s a vicious chart battle between him and Adele, really), he gave first plays to ‘Front Load’, ‘Faggot’, ‘Snakes’ and ‘Gratitude’. Explaining the choice of title for ‘Faggot’, he told Benji B: “I’m proud of being a faggot.”

As well as debuting new tracks, Arca talked about his work on Björk’s ‘Vulnicura’ and his creative partnership with Jesse Kanda.
