Oh, Canada
Arcade Fire, Mac DeMarco & more feature in Polaris Music Prize shortlist
Canadian award for album of the year is announced this September.
Arcade Fire and Mac DeMarco lead the way in the newly announced shortlist for this year’s Polaris Music Prize.
The Canadian award for best album initially brought together a fifty-plus longlist. That’s since been whittled down, with Drake, Owen Pallett and Jessy Lanza featuring.
Chromeo, Chad VanGaalen and Solids were among those unfortunate to miss out on the shortlist of 10.
A winner will be announced at a ceremony on 22nd September.
