ArcTanGent Confirms Fuck Buttons, DIY Sponsored Main Stage

The Friday night headliners for ArcTanGent Festival - which comes complete with a DIY-badged main stage - has been announced as Fuck Buttons. They’ll be joining Saturday headliners, 65daysofstatic.

The duo released their most recent album ‘Tarot Sport’ in 2009, and more recently had their tracks ‘Surf Solar’ and ‘Olympians’ featured during the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.

Other newly-revealed ArcTanGent additions include Future Of The Left, And So I Watch You From Afar, Gallops, Arcane Roots, Bo Ningen, Turbowolf, Blacklisters, Islet, You Slut! and Talons.

They join previously-announced acts Three Trapped Tigers, Tall Ships, Rolo Tomassi, Maybeshewill, Johnny Foreigner, Castrovalva, Yndi Halda, TTNG, That Fucking Tank, The Physics House Band, Among Brothers, Axes and Brontide.

Says co-founder James Scarlett: ‘We’ve been working on booking Fuck Buttons for months now and I’m ecstatic that it’s finally come off. They’re a great band for us to book because they fit the line-up perfectly, rarely play live and have close connections with Bristol after forming and basing themselves here.’

ArcTanGent will take place from 29th - 31st August in Bristol. Tickets are on sale now for just £59.
