Arctic Monkeys confirmed to play their Glastonbury 2023 headline spot tonight
The festival’s Emily Eavis has confirmed that the Pyramid Stage headliners are set to take to the stage this evening.

After days of rumours and uncertainty following the cancellation of their Dublin show earlier this week, it sounds like Arctic Monkeys are still set to go ahead with their headline slot at Glastonbury 2023 later tonight (Friday 23rd June).
Concerns began earlier this week after the band were forced to cancel their show at Dublin’s Marley Park on Tuesday 20th June due to the band’s Alex Turner “suffering from acute laryngitis” and being advised to rest.
However, today, Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis confirmed that their headline set on the Pyramid Stage is due to go ahead when she appeared on BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball Breakfast Show this morning.
When asked by Zoe Ball if she knew the latest with the band, Emily replied: “He’s definitely – they’re on.
“It was a little bit close there for a minute and we were thinking about whether we should have a serious backup plan in place but no, thankfully they’re on so that is great.”
Arctic Monkeys are due to take to the stage at Glastonbury 2023 this evening at 10.15pm.
