Arctic Monkeys could be heading in a new direction on album number three, according to producer James Ford.
Ford, who worked on both last year’s ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ and Alex Turner side-project The Last Shadow Puppets’ ‘The Age Of The Understatement’, told the Daily Star: “It’s too early to say what sort of direction they’ll go in next. But they’ve got at least one tune up their sleeves that sounds massive already.”
He added: “It’s much more psychedelic than the first album. I wouldn’t rule out a bit of R’n’B either – the boys know their stuff.”
