Ariana Grande unveils plans for eighth album ‘petal’
The LP was executively produced and co-written by Ariana Grande and ILYA, and will arrive later this summer.

Pop princess Ariana Grande has announced that her next studio album will be entitled ‘petal’, and will hit shelves on 31st July via Republic Records.
It’ll be the follow up to 2024’s ‘eternal sunshine’ (which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and became the longest-running #1 album of her career), since which she’s also found huge success on the silver screen starring in Wicked and Wicked: For Good as Glinda the Good Witch, alongside Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba.
Now the much-dissected Wicked press tour has come to a close, Ariana’s turned her attention back to music; speaking about ‘petal’, she’s described the record as “something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging”.
Details on the LP are still scarce, but she’s spent the past few days teasing fans with BTS clips of her working hard in the studio, so we can only assume that our first taste of ‘petal’ is coming soon…
