Astronauts, etc. navigate into space with ‘Shake It Loose’
Anthony Ferraro’s project brings out debut album ‘Mind Out Wandering’ this September.
Back on planet earth and a couple of years back, Astronauts, etc. was a one-man project. From a bedroom studio, Anthony Ferraro dreamt of time-travelling and going space-bound, but he started small. As a hyped-up, go-to newcomer, he released several hook-loaded standalone songs. But give or take some time aside from the spotlight, he’s since beefed up the project with a full live band.
Together, they’re putting out debut album ‘Mind Out Wandering’ this September. It’s being previewed by ‘Shake It Loose’, a song steeped in the unhinged pop quality of Ferraro’s early work, boosted tenfold by a full-band approach. Floaty keys add more space, while eye-opening guitar lines from Derek Barber dream big.
Given more backing than ever, Ferraro finally sounds ready to make the jump for bigger things. DIY is premiering ‘Shake It Loose’ below.
‘Mind Out Wandering’ is out 18th September on Hit City U.S.A.
