Aussie duo Klo stream new track, ‘False Calls’

Klo is a new duo based out of Melbourne. They’re two cousins, Simon Lam and Chloe Kaul, and their latest track ‘False Calls’ swiftly follows on from a free download single ‘Make Me Wonder’. Both tracks share a fitting kinship. They express playful pop in severe, experimental form, a little like with AlunaGeorge but with more curveballs to deal with.

Kaul’s vocals are unmistakably chart-friendly, but the production the two coin gives off a completely different impression. ‘False Calls’ is a jumbling together of red herrings, untied knots, new fixations. It grabs the attention like there’s no tomorrow.
