Bakar announces ‘Halo’ UK and Europe headline tour

The London artist has also shared some honest thoughts on how he feels about touring.

Camden-born artist Bakar has recently announced a series of live dates for an upcoming headline tour around the UK and Europe, in celebration of his forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Halo’ (due on 1st September via Black Butter).

This second LP follows on from 2018’s mixtape ‘Badkid’ and 2022’s album ‘Nobody’s Home’, and explores the artist’s complicated relationship with a musician’s nomadic lifestyle. Indeed, the tour poster itself gives an insight into these emotions - Bakar writes that “I’ll be honest, going on tour isn’t my favourite thing. In fact it’s my least favourite part about what I do. […] With all that said there’s a moment, a moment that I would happily endure all the above for, a moment that I would do almost anything for. The most present moments in my entire existence happen when I’m on stage, staring out at hopeful eyes, vulnerable strands of people, bits of DNA so tangible that it connects us spiritually and physically”.

The ‘Halo’ tour will take Bakar through Europe and the UK, including a hometown show at London’s Eventim Apollo. Check out the full list of dates below:
