Beaty Heart announce new album ‘Till The Tomb’, share ‘Soft Like Clay’ track

The London trio’s second album is due this July.

South London weirdo-pop lot Beaty Heart have announced ‘Till The Tomb’, their second full-length. Due for release on July 29th through Caroline International, the record’s led by ‘Soft Like Clay’, a percussive and meticulously constructed inspired by that titular building material. “We wrote Soft Like Clay in an asbestos haze on a building site in Peckham,” explain the band. “We were too broke to afford a rehearsal space, so we ended up in a friend’s basement, surrounded by earthy colours, dust, trash and bricks, which inspired a fractious sounding song about transformation.” It follows ‘Flora’ in previewing the group’s second album, the full tracklist for which is as follows: 1. Flora 2. Raw Gold 3. Glazed 4. Till The Tomb 5. Soft Like Clay 6. Good Bunch 7. Green Grease 8. U Say 9. Slide To The Side 10.
