Beck Announces Short Stint Of Tour Dates
He’ll be making a handful of headline appearances, in amongst some festival visits this May, July and August.

We’re all still eagerly awaiting the return of Beck in the form we know and love him: you know, with regular albums and the like. And now, we’re that tiny bit closer.
Having unveiled his ‘Song Reader’ sheet music collection last year, the man himself seems to finally be working on a standard format release and, as we wait for it, he’ll be embarking upon a series of tour dates.
The tour will take in seven cities, with Beck performing one this month, before heading out on the bulk of dates throughout July and August. The dates will apparently - according to Consequence of Sound - feature both acoustic and electric performances, including ‘never before heard material from an upcoming acoustic record. The record can best be described as a self-contained work, one that came in the form of a burst of inspiration following the completion of last year’s groundbreaking Song Reader sheet music album.”
For the most part, the performances will take place at a handful of American festivals, but there’s also one European show scheduled: an appearance at Paris’ Days Off Festival. Find the tour dates below.
MAY
19 Santa Cruz, CA @ Rio Theatre
JULY
02 Paris, FR @ Days Off Festival
27 Wantagh, NY @ Americanarama Festival
28 Newport, RI @ Newport Folk Festival
30 Portland, ME @ State Theatre
AUGUST
02 Boston, MA @ Bank of America Pavilion
04 Brooklyn, NY @ Prospect Park Bandshell (Celebrate Brooklyn)
