Belle & Sebastian announce Boaty Weekender Cruise Lineup with Mogwai, Camera Obscura, Django Django, Alvvays and more
The music festival at sea will sail from Barcelona to Cagliari, Sardinia next summer!
With the line-up now announced, it looks like Belle and Sebastian’s festival/cruise/holiday experience is now officially a thing!
Joining the host band, the Boaty Weekender - which marks the 20th anniversary of Belle & Sebastian’s legendary 1998 Bowlie Weekender - will feature performances from Mogwai, Camera Obscura, Django Django, Alvvays, The Buzzcocks, Japanese Breakfast, Honeyblood, HINDS, Kelly Lee Owens, Nilüfer Yanya, Whyte Horses, Tracyanne and Danny.
The cruise will take place over four days, sailing from Barcelona to Cagliari, Sardinia, between 8-12 August 2019.
Each artist will play multiple performances across five stages during the festival and you’ll also be able to experience unique artist collaborations, Q&As, panel sessions, themed parties and more.
