Robert Smith to guest curate 2026 Royal Albert Hall gig series for Teenage Cancer Trust

Robert Smith has been announced as the 2026 curator of Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual Royal Albert Hall concert series - an initiative launched by The Who’s Roger Daltrey to support the vital work of the UK charity.

Set to take place from 23rd-29th March, next year’s week-long series will feature special performances from Elbow (Monday 23rd), Mogwai (Wednesday 25th), Manic Street Preachers (Thursday 26th - what will be the series’ 150th show), my bloody valentine (Friday 27th), Garbage (Saturday 28th) and Wolf Alice (Sunday 29th), as well as a stacked bill of standout comedians on Tuesday 24th March.

Each headliner has been hand-picked by Smith himself, who has explained that he wanted to create “a truly unforgettable, unmissable week - a run of shows to dream about”. Continuing, he has said: “I am so grateful to all the artists who accepted my invitation to perform. These will be very special events; every band, both headliners and special guests, and every comedian too, is either legendary or at the top of their game… indeed in most cases, they are both! It is going to be a fabulous 7 nights, and I can hardly wait to experience it all.”

Tickets for all seven unique shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday 12th December here; check out full details of each gig below.
