Belle & Sebastian Unveil Video For ‘The Party Line’
The maudlin Scots soundtrack a sepia-tinged night out.
Since the release of ‘The Party Line’ in October, Belle & Sebastian have kept cards close to their chest. So, in an effort to appease all, they’ve given the track (the first single to be taken from their upcoming album ‘Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance’ (out January 19th on Matador) a shiny new sepia-tinged video.
Directed by Leblanc + Cudmore and choreographed by Robert Binet, the clip is a characteristically-arty affair and follows a group of impossibly-attractive young people as they embark on a night out packed with lust, stolen glances, quirky dancing and missed opportunities.
As previously announced, The Scots complete their return by playing a comprehensive tour of the UK next spring. These dates can be found below:
