Bestival reveals Summer Of Love theme for 2015 event

Isle of White bash takes place from 10th-13th September.

After the spectacular disco funfest that saw a world record sized disco ball descend on Robin Hill last year, Bestival has announced its 2015 theme to be ‘Summer of Love’. Music, freedom, peace, leave and euphoria are all on the agenda as Bestival pays homage to the forefathers of the music festival.

Festival organiser Rob Da Bank says: “Our theme for 2015 is the Summer of Love… it’s a simple theme and hopefully one that’s easy to embrace. It’s largely a positive reaction to all the bad news and downright evil going on in the world. We’re not hiding our heads in the sand and pretending everything’s rosy and laid-back but we can, as a big family of 50,000 people, come together, listen to music, party and spread love, even if it’s just for the weekend. That has always been at the heart of Bestival and its year-round community. Hate out, love in!”

Tickets for the Bestival’s Summer of Love, priced at £195 for adults, £185 for students, and £130 for 13-17 year-olds, go on sale on Thursday 12th February and will coincide with the first wave of acts. Tickets for the event will be available here.
