Big Boi Confirms New Solo Album

Earlier this week, longtime Outkast producer Mr. DJ denied rumours that there was a new collaborative record on the way, instead stating that both Big Boi and Andre 3000 would be delivering solo efforts later in the year.

Rumours initially emerged through former Outkast manager Queen Latifah that they’d be delivering a new record (rumours she’s since rebuffed). A 40-date-plus festival schedule looks set to keep them busy, but Big Boi confirmed solo plans in an interview with Revolt TV.

‘Look out for that new Big Boi solo record coming up,’ he said on the red carpet in an interview about the Outkast reunion tour.
