Buck Meek shares details of poignant new album ‘The Mirror’
It features a range of collaborators, including his brother and Big Thief bandmates.

Big Thief’s Buck Meek is set to release his next solo album, ‘The Mirror’, on 27th February via 4AD, having just released its lead single ‘Gasoline’.
The follow up to 2023’s ‘Haunted Mountain’ (via a Big Thief-shaped detour with last year’s ‘Double Infinity’), Buck’s new LP will see him astutely consider all the complicated, bittersweet, absurd facets of love over 11 intimate tracks, all brought to life by producer and fellow Big Thief member James Krivchenia.
Among the cast of collaborators who also joined the fun are Adrianne Lenker, who lent her vocals; Buck’s brother Dylan, who contributed piano, keys, and vocals; and longtime creative partners Adam Brisbin (guitar) and Ken Woodward (bass).

Since 2022’s ‘Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You’, Big Thief have contracted and expanded, breathing new life into their ever-animate body of work.
