Black Country, New Road unveil dynamic new offering ‘For The Cold Country’
Their new album, ‘Forever Howlong’, will be played in full on their intimate April 2025 tour dates.
Black Country, New Road have today unveiled ‘For The Cold Country’, our latest pre-release taste of what to expect from their much-anticipated third studio album, ‘Forever Howlong’ (which is due to arrive on 4th April via Ninja Tune).
Featuring May Kershaw on lead vocal duties, this new track follows expansive lead single ‘Besties’ and recent cut ‘Happy Birthday’, and is another prime example of the group’s dynamic, precisely engineered writing prowess.
“It created a real through line for the album, having three girls singing,” Georgia Ellery - also one half of Jockstrap - has said. “It’s definitely very different to ‘Ants From Up There’, because of the female perspective - and the music we’ve made also compliments that.”
