Black Grape added to this year’s Festival No. 6

The duo will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight…Yeah’.

Black Grape have been added to the line-up of this year’s Festival No. 6.

The duo, made up of Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder and Ruthless Rap Assasins’ Kermit Leveridge, will be taking to the festival to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight…Yeah’.

Speaking of their appearance at the fest, Kermit Leveridge has said: “Festival No. 6 is unique. It’s a festival that has something for everybody, whether you wanna party hard or you’re a culture vulture. They always have great acts and it’s a beautiful backdrop. This will be the third year I’ve been to No. 6 and I’m really looking forward to tearing it up with Black Grape. I’m also going to be curating the Super Weird Happening on the Estuary Stage with Greg Wilson. It’s gonna be majestic!”

They join the likes of Metronomy, Young Fathers, Everything Everything, Badly Drawn Boy, Ghostpoet and Shura, who have all been previously confirmed to appear at the 2015 edition of the weekender.

This year’s Festival No. 6 takes place in Portmeirion, Wales from 3rd to 6th September. Tickets are available now.
