Blood Red Shoes Announce New Self-Titled Album
Brighton duo’s new record was put together in Berlin - watch a new video for ‘The Perfect Mess’.
After treasure hunts and worldwide unlocking sprees (that’s how Blood Red Shoes unveiled ‘The Perfect Mess’ earlier this week), the Brighton duo of Laura Mary Carter and Steven Ansell have announced details of their self-titled new album.
Due for release via Jazz Life on 3rd March, the record was recorded in Berlin. DIY’s been given an exclusive guide to the process in the new DIY Weekly - the pair have shared some exclusive photos from the sessions, while waxing lyrical on how it all came together.
‘The Perfect Mess’ has a new video to boot, showing how Laura and Steven larked about while recording their new record. It’s completely free of serious stuff like writing and chin-stroking and other important things.

4 Grey Smoke
5 Far Away
