Just like magic
Blur are dishing out free ‘The Magic Whip’ ice cream in London today
High Street Kensington and Rough Trade East are getting sent freebies.
A few days on from a new album’s release, Blur are giving out free ice cream to lucky London punters today (1st May).
The band’s ‘The Magic Whip’ ice cream van is doing the rounds across the capital. An hour ago, it parked outside the group’s Warner Music Group office in High Street Kensington. From 1pm GMT, it’ll be at East London’s Rough Trade East.
Blur are on the other side of the world, meanwhile. Last night they made their first US televised appearance in fifteen years, on The Tonight Show. And this evening they play a free show in Brooklyn for Rubber Tracks.
Expect ice cream a-plenty at the group’s BST Hyde Park show, 20th June.
