Blur share ‘My Terracotta Heart’
Hear the latest track to be lifted from ‘The Magic Whip’.
Blur have unveiled ‘My Terracotta Heart’, a gorgeous cut from new album ‘The Magic Whip’.
This is one of the more personal takes on the whole album. Graham Coxon’s gone on record as saying that lyrics refer to inter-band relationships between himself and frontman Damon Albarn, and the latter sings about times “when we were more like brothers, but that was years ago.”
DIY’s track-by-track verdict of the new album calls this song “close to magical.”
‘My Terracotta Heart’ links up with ‘Lonesome Street’, ‘Go Out’ and ‘There Are Too Many Of Us’ in previewing the new LP, out 27th April.

Blur headline BST Hyde Park on 20th June, joined by Metronomy, Drenge, The Horrors and many more.
