Blur top the UK Album Chart with ‘The Magic Whip’
Group’s comeback LP is their sixth to top the charts.

Blur have scored their sixth number one album with ‘The Magic Whip’ topping this week’s Official Albums Chart.
Their first release in twelve years, it went straight in at the top spot, landing ahead of Taylor Swift, James Bay, Josh Graban and Meghan Trainor. Previous LP ‘Think Tank’ also took the top spot back in 2003.
In the Official Singles Chart, OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ (Felix Jaehn Remix) took the top spot. Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘I Really Like You’ was the highest new entry, appearing at #3. Alesso ft. Roy English’s ‘Cool’ also made the top ten in its first week.
