Bo Rocha cuts deep on new track ‘Angel Eyes’
Hear the second track from the hyped-up Londoner.
There’s serious purpose to Bo Rocha’s first steps. On new song ‘Angel Eyes’, she matched in vogue hazy production with an actual message, punchy choruses linking up with a cuss-heavy quality.
Debut track ‘Tangerine Flake’ picked up off-the-cuff Lana Del Rey comparisons, but her second cut is a storming step away from categorisation. Pitch-shifted vocals, storming synths and showy guitar parts that Slash wouldn’t shy away from are all compressed into four ambitious minutes, and by the end Bo Rocha sets herself some way apart from the current crop.
