Aussie quartet Body Type return with new single ‘And What Else?’

Three years on from the release of their second album, Australian quartet Body Type have returned with a brand new single, after signing to King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s p(doom) records.

The band - who released their previous full-length ‘Expired Candy’ back in June 2023 - have reconvened after a short break during which they focussed on other projects, and have now shared a new buoyant, garage rock anthem that channels the cost of insecurity and fishing for compliments. 

“The big chorus is a cathartic cry out against feeling insecure in a relationship,” the band’s Annabel Blackman has said, of the single. “Those mental twists your brain makes when statements of adoration make you feel sceptical and unworthy, but simultaneously hungry for more of that sweet stuff.”
