Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and The National’s Aaron Dessner line up a second Eaux Claires Festival
The Wisconsin music and arts festival will return in 2016, it’s been confirmed.
This year saw Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner curate the inaugral Eaux Claires festival. Set in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the music and arts festival hosted the likes of Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, The National, Poliça and more. Today, a second edition has been announced.
Set to take place over August 12th and 13th 2016 at Foster Farms near Eau Claire, Eaux Claires’ line-up has yet to be announced. You can, however stream a teaser video, soundtracked by Bon Iver’s performance of ‘Babys’ at this year’s edition. That’s below.
If you can’t wait til then for your Aaron Dessner side-project action, however, you are in luck - the upcoming release of Leonardo DiCaprio film The Revenant will be scored in part by Dessner. As for the day job? Oh, The National are debuting new material. So that’s cool too, s’pose.
