Braid Return With First New Release In 13 Years And Festival Headline Slot

Braid have revealed the release date of ‘Closer To Closed’, the band’s long-awaited follow up to their seminal album ‘Frame and Canvas’.

Despite two posthumous releases since their disbandment in 1999, ‘Closer To Closed’ is the first collection of new Braid material since 1998 and will be available via Polyvinyl on August 16 on limited edition 180-gram white vinyl, CD, and digital formats.

As well as the new four-track EP the band have also been confirmed to play Polyvinyl’s 15th Anniversary show at Pygmalion Music Festival on September 24.
