Brandon Flowers confirms new album, ‘The Desired Effect’
The Killers’ frontman’s second solo record will be out in May.
After having pretty much given the game away earlier this week with a handwritten note on his website, Brandon Flowers has confirmed details of his second solo album.
Titled ‘The Desired Effect’, the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Flamingo’ will be released on 18th May, preceded by a single, ‘Can’t Deny My Love’, on 23rd March.
The album was recorded at The Killers’ own Battle Born studio in Las Vegas alongside producer Ariel Rechtshaid - also known for his work with Vampire Weekend, Charli XCX and Haim.
Flowers has also confirmed his first live appearance in support of the record, at Webster Hall in New York City on 24th March.
Track listing is yet to be confirmed, but there’s a UK pre-order already available here.
