Bruising rocket into the spotlight with ‘Can’t You Feel’ single

New release is due out via Beech Coma’s third compilation, arriving ahead of tomorrow night’s Hello 2015.

Naomi Baguely and Ben Lewis - aka Bruising - are Andrew WK-approved, bloodthirsty tikes with something to prove.

Their debut track, ‘Honey’, came off like an anti-twee anthem, Baguely’s softly-softly vocals being cast up against a merciless wall of noise. New number ‘Can’t You Feel’ ditches hushed production for something fuller - the Leeds duo wind up something like the grizzliest new prospect in an age.

Self-recorded, ‘Can’t You Feel’ features on the new Beech Coma compilation, ‘Vol. 3’. Jr., bare pale and Thalassocracy are also set to feature. The 9th March release is available for pre-order on red cassette, t-shirt bundle and digital download.

DIY is premiering ‘Can’t You Feel’ below. Tomorrow night (27th January), Bruising join Girl Band, Demob Happy and Ex’s for a ridiculously exciting new music showcase, the final Hello 2015 of the year at London’s The Old Blue Last. It’s free entry, but arrive before 7.45pm to avoid being out-queued.

Bruising play the following shows:

JANUARY
27 London, The Old Blue Last (w/ Girl Band for DIY Presents: Hello 2015)

FEBRUARY
01 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club (w/ Menace Beach)
07 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club (w/ Alex G)
