Caity Baser returns with bold new big-band single, ‘Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It)’
It’s her first new music since her 2024 debut mixtape ‘Still Learning’.

BRIT-nominated pop riser Caity Baser is back, teasing an exciting new direction with the release of latest single ‘Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It)’.
A departure from her previous relationship-focused, dance-pop numbers (a style encapsulated by debut mixtape ‘Still Learning’), Caity’s new track instead leans into much more expansive territory, incorporating all-live instrumentation - including horns, strings, organ, and a choir - and more personally meaningful lyricism to create something closer to the likes of RAYE, full of big-band drama.
“It is different from what you’ve heard from me before,” Caity has said of the song, “but hopefully you can hear it’s the same me, and just like always: I’m being as honest and true to myself as possible.
“At some point after festival season last year l went into the studio and let my feelings out, like I’d never done before. I am confronting what’s inside my head - the good, the bad and the ugly - and this is my start of it all. No more hiding from my past; just going straight at it. And it feels fucking great! I am so happy. And I hope it can give you the same feels when you listen to it xx”
